Why? because it shows off your creativity (in the way that you arrange it) and it gives her a little insight into who you are as a person (i.e., your preferences).

2. Fun: Give her a chance to participate.
Either have her prepare some fruit and bring it over to your place, or even better… do the preparation together. There’s nothing better than sharing time, energy, and creativity with each other when it comes to first dates.
